CALL NOW
A cockroach on the counter at midnight, mouse droppings in the cupboard, bites when you wake up? In Montreal North, these problems travel fast when you share walls, a basement and plumbing with your neighbours. Our technicians treat apartments, plexes and entire buildings across the borough.
About two-thirds of the neighbourhood's housing was built between 1960 and 1975: shared basements, common stairwells, plumbing stacks that link every floor. We use a biopesticide and pesticides, all registered by Health Canada, applied by technicians who hold Quebec and City of Montreal permits.
✅ Whole building treated when needed ✅ Unmarked vehicles ✅ Written guarantee: 6 months (mice, cockroaches, bed bugs), 1 year (rats)

Common pest problems in Montréal-Nord
- Cockroaches are our number one call in Montreal North, ahead of mice and then bed bugs. The vast majority of these calls come from apartments, plexes, triplexes and rental buildings, rarely from detached houses.
- A colony hidden behind a ground-floor fridge often ends up following the pipes to the unit upstairs.
- When several units are affected, we treat the whole building rather than a single apartment: otherwise the problem comes back through the shared wall a few weeks later.
- Before applying anything, the technician finds where the insects hide and where the mice get in: under the sink, along baseboards, around pipe openings, at the bottom of the stairwell.
Exterminator in Montréal-Nord: from the river to the Saint-Léonard border
Our technicians go everywhere in the borough, for example around:
boulevard Pie-IX
Henri-Bourassa Boulevard East
boulevard Léger
boulevard Rolland
Henri-Bourassa Park
the area near Rivière-des-Prairies
On the Gouin Boulevard side, near the water and the riverside parks, the calls change: carpenter ants from April to June, wasps in July and August. Further south, in the apartment blocks, it is mostly cockroaches and mice.

Our professional process
Whether it's a single apartment or an entire building in Montreal North, we follow the same four steps:
What we find in Montréal-Nord buildings
Dense Plex and Rental Buildings — Montreal-North Exterminator
In the neighbourhood's poorly ventilated shared basements, dampness takes its toll: sowbugs, silverfish, and earwigs move in. For silverfish, plan on up to 2 visits, and a dehumidifier makes a big difference.
Shared basements and crawl spaces — pests Montreal-North
Mice are our second most common call here, peaking in April and again in November. They get in through garage doors, dryer vents without a screen or worn mortar; we close those gaps on top of the baits.
Certified treatments suited to Montréal-Nord buildings
Cockroach Extermination Montreal-North — Vertical Treatment
Cockroaches move between floors through the plumbing stacks: if the neighbours above or below have them too, we treat the whole building, moisture insects included. Calls peak in July but come back in December in well-heated units.
Rat extermination Montreal-North — sealing and warranty
For rats, plan on 3 visits: the follow-up happens as soon as there are captures, or no later than 10 days after. Stations stay locked, out of children's reach, and the written guarantee is one year.
Ant Treatment Montreal-North — Certified
Carpenter ants come out from April to June, often from a balcony or a damp wooden frame. We inject powder into their galleries and treat outside if the nest is outdoors.
Perimeter pest control Montreal-North
Here, perimeter spraying is done mostly from late summer into fall: it cuts off spiders, ants and moisture insects travelling along the foundations.

Yes, but far less often than mice in our calls from the neighbourhood. Norway rats follow sewers, laneways and badly closed bins. For a rat problem we plan 3 visits with locked bait stations and sealing of entry points (foundations, drains, weep holes), followed by a one-year written guarantee.
